VOKASI NEWS — Rontgen by students majoring in Radiology
Rontgen is an annual work program held by students majoring in radiology to introduce around the campus for new students. Commonly it called study orientation and campus introduction. Many human resources are needed for this work program, because there are many new students. Of course, it also requires many committees to help this event run smoothly.
Training of Trainers
There is also preparation that must be done for this activity called TOT (training of trainers). TOT takes 2-3 hours for one meeting and this activity aims to train the committee. So that on the day of the event there are no mistakes or miscommunication. For activities carried out during TOT, usually exercises from each division, because each division has a different job desk so they have different exercises. Example from the pedis division which has the task of assessing student assignments. Of course, they must also fully understand what must be assessed.
First Meeting
The first meeting went quite smoothly because the series of events went as expected and on time. There are also a series of activities presented on the first day, namely a campus tour which aims to introduce campus facilities and infrastructure to support learning activities. New students are also introduced to the lab space, classes, equipment functions and others. In addition, there is also an assessment session for assignments on the material that has been given previously.
”This event is certainly very important for new students because in this activity it can train their discipline and train their liveliness to get used to facing the world of lectures later. That is what we expect from the committee.” said Bintang, one of the Rontgen committee in charge of the pedis division.
