VOKASI NEWS – HIMA Occupational Safety and Health, Faculty of Vocational Studies, Airlangga
University held OSHTEN (Occupational Safety And Health To Be Entrepreneur). This activity
themed “Building And Developing A Business Existence Cause Innovation Strat Form You”
was held on 20 November 2022 at 08.00 WIB. The enthusiasm of this event was attended by
more than 150 participants from Airlangga University students class 2020 to 2022. This series
of events was carried out to develop the skills of Occupational Safety and Health students in
the field of entrepreneurship, foster students and the general public to develop business, and
develop student interest and motivation to enter the world of entrepreneurship.
OSHTEN was held online through a zoom meeting media and this event used two
presenters, the first was Nabila Aisyah Azhari, A.Md.AB Alumni of D3 Vocational Office
Administration Study Program, Airlangga University class of 2019 who presented material on
the business output of the canvas model and Mr Jiwangga HN, SE, M.Sm. Lecturer in D4
Vocational Hospitality Management Study Program, Airlangga University, who presented
material on attitudes to foster self-innovation in business and ways to brand a product. The
participants who attended the event looked very enthusiastic. This is evidenced that in each
question and answer session the participants actively asked the presenters questions and
answered the questions posed by the presenters. There was also a song guessing game which
was answered by the OSHTEN participants with great enthusiasm. This event is also equipped
with output that will be collected after the event takes place.
