VOKASI NEWS – The English Diploma Student Organization (EDSO), through the Community Service department, held a social service activity in the form of sharing knowledge with children while waiting to break the fast. We shared knowledge, played games, and waited for the time to break the fast until breaking the fast together with happiness through a program called EDSO Social Expedition. This activity was carried out with great enthusiasm and joy by students and children at Graha Yatim & Dhuafa (GRAY) on Saturday, April 8, 2023.
Our series of social events carry the theme “EDSO Sharing the Blessings”, which means that EDSO will share blessings, knowledge, happiness, and a little sustenance for the wider community. Coincidentally, this year, we are targeting implementing the event at GRAY. In addition, we target children from kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school levels. Following the study program, namely D-III Bahasa Inggris, we share material about the types of professions in English. We hope that the material we bring can motivate them to achieve their dreams in the future.
By carrying out activities involving the wider community, we aim to impact them directly. The community can feel the existence and usefulness of the presence of Universitas Airlangga students. In addition, we want to realize that education can be shared anywhere, not only in traditional schools. By synergizing, let’s participate with EDSO in “Educating the nation’s life” and building Indonesia towards the golden Indonesia 2045.
