VOKASI NEWS – VOKARSA X OLIVAIR, the last and the most looking forward event was held encouragingly.
VOKARSA X OLIVAIR 2023 is taking place at Aseec Building of UNAIR on 24 December 2023. The event VOKARSA X OLIVAIR was held successfully and solemnly. This event was attended by Prof. Dr. Tika Widiastuti as a deputy Dean of Vocational Faculty and all of the Head of Study Programs at Vocational Faculty of UNAIR. Not only that, all of the awardees also attended to celebrate and receive the awarding that will be given.
VOKARSA X OLIVAIR 2023
So, as you have to know, VOKARSA X OLIVAIR is a creativity event organized by BEM VOKASI UNAIR. This event is consisting of outstanding students awarding in it. The purpose of this activity itself is as a venue for vocational student creativity competitions outside their major. The awarding not only be given to the students who active in organization, but also to students who join the competition. For example, there is a Painting and Essay awardee who contributed to this event.
There is one of the 2nd place winners of the Berdikari Essay, Arninda Oktaviani Putri from D3 English Study. As an active student who join internship, Arninda comes from Yogyakarta to Surabaya just to wait for some announcement in this event.
“VOKARSA x OLIVAIR needs to be repeated in the next few years. Personally, the results achieved are highly appreciated. Because gaining success is hard. Many failures and many experiences too. Among other busy schedules, The journey should continue to strive to be a well-rounded student – to excel,” said Arninda Oktaviani Putri (25/12/2023).
Next, the winner of the 2nd place Painting 2023, Alyana Zukhurufun Nahda from D3 English Study comes from Gresik to Surabaya until 3 days just for waiting announcement.
“The event was spectacular. Many of the performances that shown on the stage. Achieving some awards besides D3 English Study is such an honour. A sign that being human is not futile is represented by this award. Grateful to Allah SWT for this award,” said Alyana Zukhurufun Nahda (25/12/2023).
VOKARSA X OLIVAIR is a good event for vocational students to try other passions outside the study program. This very useful event must be continued every year because it helps students in achieving their goals. The expression of all of the winners can be used as motivation to continue to progress for all of the students. Not only that, by participating this event, it hopes that the students can continue to learn even outside the study program. High passion in a field will bring someone to be a useful person in the future. If they are serious, willing to learn, and try, it wouldn’t be hard for students to achieve their goals.
