About the Vocational Faculty of Universitas Airlangga
The Vocational Faculty of Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) is a faculty dedicated to vocational education that focuses on applied skills and industry needs. Established to address the challenges of a dynamic labor market, the faculty continuously innovates to provide study programs that are practical, relevant, and excellent.
Vision and mission
Vision
To become an autonomous, innovative, and leading Vocational Faculty at both national and international levels, serving as a pioneer in the development of applied sciences grounded in religious morality.
Mission
- To organize and develop vocational education in the fields of health, technology, and social sciences and humanities that is capable of competing at national and international levels.
- Conducting innovative applied research and dedicating vocational expertise—grounded in national values and religious morals—to support the advancement of vocational education and community service.
- Developing entrepreneurial competence in the fields of health, technology, and the social sciences and humanities.
A brief History
The UNAIR Faculty of Vocational Studies was officially established in 2014, evolving from the diploma programs at Universitas Airlangga. Currently, the faculty comprises three departments and 21 accredited study programs at the D3 and D4 levels.
Organizational structure
The Vocational Faculty is led by a dean and assisted by three vice deans. Each department is coordinated by a department head, while each study program is led by a study program head.
