VOKASI NEWS – KIP-K (Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah) was a scholarship programme held by the government.
Paying for college tuition is not cheap and a lot of money has to be spent. But all of that can be overcome by participating in scholarship programmes held by the government. One of the scholarship programmes held by the government is the KIP-K (Kartu Indonesia Pintar Kuliah) scholarship programme. The scholarship programme has collaborated with Universitas Airlangga, which means that Universitas Airlangga is given the responsibility to help underprivileged students in financing tuition fees.
The administrators of the KIP-K scholarship programme are called AUBMO administrators. Being an AUBMO board member is not easy, there are many difficulties and obstacles faced.
“The obstacle I face is how I can effectively divide my time between lectures and organisations because it is very draining on my energy and mind,” said Rizbar as an AUBMO board.
According to the interview, they are willing to join the AUBMO board for the KIP scholarship programme to help other students who have difficulties in registration.
“I joined as a form of my devotion because I got this scholarship with the help of the LO who helped me when collecting the files, so I want to give the same thing,” said Rizbar.
However, they have solutions to overcome the difficulties and obstacles faced when becoming AUBMO administrators for the KIP scholarship programme. It can be solved by discussing it with the chairman of AUBMO and also the DKF seniors. During that discussion, it could give advice or direction so that can overcome the problems.
Students With Less GPA Will Revoked
In participating in the KIP-K scholarship programme, there must be a GPA requirement. Many rumours circulate that if the GPA drops, the KIP scholarship will be revoked. However, the AUBMO management already gives explanations about those rumours.
“Not revoked, but students who have a GPA less than the KIP-K standard will be given more guidance from the campus,” said Aulia.
So, all of the students except final semester students can apply for KIP-K. The final semester students are not able to apply because to apply this kind of scholarship, you must be in the first semester or a new student of a college.
