VOKASI NEWS – D3 English Studies made an interesting magazine as their final project. The fourth semester might be one of the most exciting semesters for D3 Bahasa Inggris students. It is because they have to make a magazine from the provided topic for one of the subject’s final projects. One of the groups has chosen to write an entertainment magazine, a movie magazine to be exact.
They decided to pick that topic because each member of the group is a Movie Enthusiast. After much consideration, they decided to take their twist on one of the most incredible action movie franchises of all time, Mission Impossible starring Tom Cruise. No doubt that Tom Cruise is one of the most talented actors of all time and even most of the group members have a crush towards Tom Cruise.
“We did research on Mission Impossible and Tom Cruise himself by rewatching the movie clip on the internet. I also read a lot of news about the movie franchise,” said Puspa Anggun as one of the group members.
The majority of the members are into action movies to be precise. They are often fascinated by the fact that someone can make unrealistic scenarios so realistic to pull their viewer into the actions. They are also fascinated by Tom Cruise’s ability to take all the action by himself. For your information, Tom Cruise rarely uses stun double for his action scenes
Movies and Actors Magazine Final Project
Their target audience for their magazine is Movie Enthusiasts like themselves and ordinary people. So they can get to know more about the behind-the-scenes of their favourite movies.
“We think it’s so cool how the movies are made. By using creative person idea that turns into a masterpiece for everyone to enjoy and remember,” said Achmad Bagas, one of the writers for this project.
Even though this magazine is their final project for Translation class, they wish they could develop this idea. So there is more media for people to understand about movie-making and movie actors and actresses.
Based on their experience, this might be one of the most exciting projects they have done so far. It is because they can put their heart into something they like and are interested in. They polished this project to the max, they even put so much time into this. Based on Adrian Rizkillah’s personal opinion, he also put his time into the design and the layout of this project so it can look like a professional magazine.
